Look out over the rolling hills as you exercise your horses in a magnificently situated riding ring with excellent footing. In autumn, a blaze of maple and oak leaves adds color to the prospect as you ride cross-country through fields and woodland trails. From the top of the property you can see several Adirondack peaks to the north and watch the mist rise over the Hudson and Hoosic river valleys on cool spring mornings. Along with more than twenty acres of pastures enclosed by four-rail PVC fence and a four-horse run-in shed at the top of the hill, the back field offers ten cross-country jumps and, beyond them, lovely Ostrich Fern-bordered trails through mixed woodlands crossed by streams. A five minute walk down the road (or on paths through the woods) lies the Tomhannock Reservoir, a five mile long body of water with lovely trails for walking and great fishing.
