The Exterior has been restored with pilasters, friezes, molding and trim custom milled to match the bold lines of the original Greek Revival detail. The entire building has been newly insulated, sheathed, and sided with solid-stained clear cedar clapboards. New 6 over 6 Marvin true-divided light windows combine period accuracy with energy saving technology. The electrical service and wiring are new as are the heating and plumbing systems. A giant maple, over 200 years old, shades the house in summer and offers a striking show of color each autumn.
